Everybody Lifting is a non-profit based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2024, the organization’s mission is to provide an inclusive, supportive, and equitable space where everyone–including LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of diverse body sizes, and those with disabilities–can train, compete, connect, and thrive.

Everybody Lifting is managed by its Executive Board of volunteer leaders from across the Phoenix Metro region.
Founder and Chair
“I’ve always been passionate about inclusivity in fitness, especially in strength sports. I want everyone to experience the benefits of strength training without fear of judgement or rejection. Lifting is for EVERYBODY.”
FUN FACT: Megan competes in powerlifting, olympic lifting, and strongman and has visited 23 National Parks.
Vice Chair
“I wanted to join the Everybody Lifting Board because I support the mission of creating a space or spaces where people feel and know that they are allowed to belong by their own choice and no one else’s.”
FUN FACT: Justin worked in adoptions for more than seven years and has held the Arizona state record for bench press.

“I joined Everybody Lifting Club in 2024, and it has made a huge impression on my life. When the opportunity came to be involved in the non-profit side of Everybody Lifting, I was excited to help how I could.”

“I am passionate about lifting and strength training and have been looking for an opportunity to combine that passion with an element of community service. It brings me so much joy to think about creating opportunities to explore lifting and strength training for groups who might otherwise find it challenging to locate safe and inclusive spaces to do so.
FUN FACT: Sara is a CPA who competes in powerlifting and strongman.
